Emily Kopania, Ph.D.

Emily is an evolutionary biologist seeking to understand the relationships between adaptation, development, and genomic changes. She received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Southern California working with Matt Dean, completed her Ph.D. from the University of Montana with Jeff Good, and was a postdoctoral fellow with Nathan Clark at the University of Utah and University of Pittsburgh. Outside the lab, she enjoys playing music and spending time outdoors.
